Introduction
There are many types of
religions followed by people all over the world and Islam is one of them. Islam
is the best religion and many people are following it. There are many teachings
of Islam which must be followed by all Muslims.
All good tasks are ordered
to be done in Islam and all bad tasks are avoided. Muslims must follow
teachings of Islam in routine life so that they can get success in this world
and also in life after death.
Prayers
Islam has prayers for all Muslims.
Each Muslim must say prayers five times a day. There are specific times for
prayers and different types of rewards are also associated with prayers.
Those who say prayers
regularly are able to remain active and also get different types of benefits
for the body. Prayers are a good exercise for the body and these are helpful
for refreshing the body and mind. It is good to say prayers on their time so
that the rewards and benefits could be obtained.
Sparing some time for
prayers is giving different types of benefits for Muslims. If a Muslim is not
saying prayers on time then he is not able to get benefits. There are different
types of losses which are taking place for Muslims who are not saying prayers
on proper times.
Ramazan
Month of Ramazan is set for Muslims
in which they have to practice fasting. Time of fasting starts from dawn till
sunset. Two prayers are used for setting timing of Ramazan. Fajr prayer is the
starting time of fasting and Maghrib prayer is the ending time of fasting.
During the month is Ramazan it
is important for Muslims to stay away from eating and drinking and also remain
safe from bad acts. Main purpose of Ramazan is to invoke a feeling in Muslims
about the hard lives of poor people who are not able to eat and drink in
routine life. When Muslims are not eating and drinking during Ramazan then they
can exercise the feelings of poor people and also show their acceptance of
rules of Islam.
Great rewards are for those Muslims
who are fasting during the month of Ramazan and remaining safe from other bad
acts. A lot of blessings are given to Muslims who are completing fasting in the
month of Ramazan and also completing all other rules and regulations.
Zakat
Zakat is present in Islam in
which rich people must separate a fixed amount from their income and other
things for poor people. It is duty of Muslims to separate the amount of Zakat
and give it to the needy people.
With the help of Zakat the
earnings and belongings of Muslims are purified and this act is also helpful
for elimination of poverty from the Muslim society. Those who are not
separating the fixed amount of Zakat from their money and belongings are doing wrong,
for themselves and their money and earnings are not purified.
In order to purify the
earnings it is important for Muslims to pay Zakat at regular intervals as per
teachings of Islam. This act is mainly used to help the poor and needy people
so that they can get enough money for normal living.
Hajj
Hajj is visiting house of
Allah in Saudi Arabia. It is made compulsory once for all Muslims if they are
able to bear the expenses and have all the means and healthy body. If a Muslim
is able to perform Hajj in life but he wasted the time and then he lost the
money and health then the compulsion of hajj is never ended.
If a Muslim is not able to
bear the expenses of hajj and he is not in good health then the performance of
hajj is not compulsory. If hajj is compulsory and neglected then it is duty of
the Muslim to complete it or assign another person to perform hajj for
completion of his duty.
Jihad
Jihad is fighting in way of
Allah with forces of evil in order to eliminate them. Muslims must follow Islam
and fight with those enemies who are against Islam and trying to give losses to
Muslims and Islam. It is important for Muslims to follow the rules of Islam and
present Islamic life and culture to the whole world.
Many people from other
religions are also converting to Islam by checking the teachings of Islam which
is a good thing. However those who are working against Islam and Muslims are
enemies and must be eliminated through jihad.
